The space and its particular character
THE APARTMENT
The space and its particular character.
How many guests can stay?
LUNE 29 can accommodate up to four overnight guests. At 24.05 m², the apartment is compact, so four adults should expect to share a small space.
How large is the apartment?
The floor area is 24.05 m², including 15.69 m² under the Carrez measurement. It includes a living area, kitchen, bathroom and sleeping mezzanine.
How are the beds arranged?
The mezzanine has a 160 × 200 cm double bed. The sofa bed in the living area unfolds to 140 × 200 cm. Bed linen is included for both beds.
How do I reach the apartment?
LUNE 29 is on the fifth and top floor of a historic building dating from around 1650. There is no lift, and the final part is reached by a narrow spiral staircase. Guests need to be comfortable with stairs and carrying their luggage up.
Is the apartment suitable for children?
Families with children can stay, and the mezzanine has a railing around it. There are no safety gates at the mezzanine stairs or the stairs leading to the apartment, so young children require close supervision.
Is the apartment accessible for guests with reduced mobility?
Unfortunately, the apartment is not wheelchair accessible. It is on the fifth floor without a lift and is reached by a narrow staircase and spiral stairs. Please contact us before booking if you have questions about access.
Is there anything to know about the mezzanine?
The mezzanine is reached by an internal staircase. You can stand upright in the passage, while the ceiling is lower around the bed because of the sloping roof. There is a railing but no safety gate at the stairs.
Is there storage space?
A chest of drawers is available for clothes and personal belongings. Storage is limited, so we recommend packing fairly lightly.

Can I leave luggage before check-in?

How does check-in work?
LUNE 29 has self check-in. Three days before arrival, you receive a private guide with photos and the necessary information. On arrival day, you can let yourselves in from the agreed time. Access codes and key-box details are never published.
Are bed linen and towels included?
Yes. Bed linen and towels are included and ready when you arrive.
Is final cleaning included?
Yes, ordinary final cleaning is included. Before leaving, please place used towels and bed linen on the bathroom floor, wash used dishes, take out the rubbish, leave the apartment reasonably tidy and return the keys to the key boxes. See the house rules.
How do I contact LUNE 29 during my stay?
General questions can be sent to bonjour@lune29.fr. Checked-in guests also receive a private phone and WhatsApp number in the protected arrival guide.

How is the apartment heated?

When the city begins outside the door.
Is the apartment noisy?
LUNE 29 faces the courtyard and is therefore sheltered from the street and Le Grand Rex. It is normally very quiet by day and night, although ordinary sounds from a historic apartment building may occur.
Where is the nearest métro?
Bonne Nouvelle is about 123 metres from LUNE 29, with an entrance on rue de la Lune itself. Métro lines 8 and 9 and buses 20, 32 and 39 serve the station. See it and the route on our interactive Paris guide.
Can I park nearby?
Yes. We recommend Interparking Rex Grands Boulevards at 5–7 rue du Faubourg Poissonnière, a few minutes' walk from the apartment. The maximum vehicle height is 1.90 metres, and advance booking is recommended. See parking and directions in our Paris guide.
Where can I buy groceries?
Monoprix Tout Va Bien, Lidl Strasbourg, Supermarché G20 Réaumur and Monoprix Sébastopol are all within walking distance. For produce, cheese, wine and specialist shops, we recommend rue Montorgueil. Find the shops and walking routes in our Paris guide.
Where should rubbish be disposed of?
Household rubbish must be placed in the large green bins by the building. The small public street bins must not be used for the apartment's rubbish bags. The private arrival guide shows the current location.
Can I use the courtyard or other common areas?
No. The building's courtyard and other common areas are not part of the rental and may not be used as places to sit or gather.

Yes. Visitors are welcome when neighbours and the house rules are respected. Only guests included in the booking may stay overnight, with a maximum of four overnight guests.
Are smoking, parties or pets allowed?
No. Smoking, vaping, parties and pets are not permitted. These rules protect both the apartment and its neighbours. Read the full house rules.

LUNE 29 can be booked for both short and longer stays. Availability and the applicable agreement depend on the nature of the stay, and longer stays may be subject to special rental terms. See the general terms or contact us.
How do booking and payment work?
An enquiry is not itself a binding reservation. Once LUNE 29 accepts it, the stay is reserved, and the agreement becomes binding when the first payment is received. For bookings made more than 30 days before arrival, 25% is paid when the agreement is made and 75% no later than 30 days before arrival. For bookings made 30 days or less before arrival, the full amount is due when the agreement is made. See the applicable terms.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations more than 30 days before arrival receive a full refund. From 30 days up to 14 days before arrival, 50% of the total price is payable. Less than 14 days before arrival, 100% is payable. The full rules and mandatory rights are set out in the short-stay terms.
